Multipurpose electric grater for a delicious grill dinner

A delicious grill dinner begins with good preparation. You have to think about what to put on the table, you have to go shopping and you have to prepare some things in advance. This includes cutting and grating certain vegetables or cheese.

Do you get teary eyed while chopping onions? Always want to chop carrots for your favorite salad, but find it almost impossible? Do you like freshly grated cheese on your mini pizza? Then Slice & More is the electric multipurpose grater you’re looking for!

With this multifunctional electric grater, cutting and grating vegetables is very easy. Slice & More has 2 speed settings (160 or 180 rpm). This grater works very simply: select the cutting drum and push it into the holder of the device. Then place a container under the opening of the cutting drum to catch the grated food. Now the scrubbing can begin!

With this multipurpose cutter, you get 5 different cutting drums:

  • Drum for cutting slices (fine);
  • Drum for cutting slices (rough);
  • Drum for cutting, grinding and grating: ideal for, for example, hard cheese, nuts, chocolate and making breadcrumbs;
  • Drum for cutting and coarse grating: ideal for apples, carrots, celery and cheese;
  • Cutting and grinding drum: ideal for apples, carrots, radishes, chocolate, boiled potatoes and garlic.

Potato rösti (Swiss potato cake)

 

Ingredients (4 servings):

  • 200 grams of hard boiled potatoes
  • 1 small shallot, chopped
  • Pepper and salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of butter, melted
  • Sunflower oil
  • Possibly one or more spices: chopped garlic, chopped shallots, olive tapenade, bacon, etc.

 

Preparation:

  1. Grate potatoes with Slice & More. Choose coarse grating – Slice & More cutting drum no. 4.
  2. Put some water in the pan. Let the water boil completely. Boil the grated potatoes for 3 minutes, drain and leave to steam.
  3. When the grater has cooled, mix in chopped shallots, salt and pepper, melted butter and one or more spices of your choice.

 

On the table:

  1. Heat a raclette pan for each serving and add a generous amount of sunflower oil.
  2. Spoon a quarter of the grated potatoes into the pan until the bottom is almost covered. Fry the rösti for 5 minutes on top of the grill and regularly press them with a spatula. Place the pan under the grill and cook the rösti for 5 minutes.

 

Mac & Cheese

 

Ingredients:

  • 100 grams of macaroni
  • 100 grams of bechamel sauce
  • 20 grams of emmental, grated
  • 20 grams of sharp cheese of your choice, cut into small cubes
  • 2 spring onions, sliced
  • a little olive oil, for lubrication
  • 50 grams of aged cheese, grated

 

Preparation:

  1. Grate emmental and aged cheese with Slice & More. For this, use cutting drum no. 3 and/or 4. Be sure to keep these 2 cheeses in 2 different bowls.
  2. Mix the cooked macaroni with the bechamel sauce. Also mix in emmental, sharp cheese, pepper and spring onion rings.

 

On the table:

  1. Grease the raclette dish with a little olive oil for each portion.
  2. Fill the raclette dish with cold Mac & Cheese.
  3. Sprinkle the pan with grated aged cheese.
  4. Place the raclette dish under the grill plate and let it heat up until nicely browned.

 

Tip: you can also add cubes of ham, salmon or prawns to Mac & Cheese!
