How to make a perfect cup of coffee in 4 steps

4 steps to perfect coffee:

Dosage and grinding size

The right amount of freshly roasted and ground coffee with the right degree of grinding is the key factor for an excellent cup of coffee. A perfectly brewed espresso drips briefly at the beginning and then flows evenly into the cup(s). The pressure indicator helps you find the optimal extraction pressure, which is between 8 and 10 bar.

Cooking temperature

The espresso brewing temperature should be from 89°C to 95°C. Since the temperature of the water affects the extraction performance, brewing espresso at a higher temperature would create a bitter coffee, and lower temperatures would result in a more sour taste.

Extraction pressure

The low pressure pre-infusion function moistens the coffee powder at a low pressure of 2 to 4 bar to expand the coffee powder and release the aroma easily. Pre-infusion also binds the coffee grounds into a more stable mass that better withstands the high extraction pressure. After a low-pressure pre-infusion, the coffee is extracted under high pressure, resulting in a perfect extraction pressure of 8 to 10 bar.
